We loved our experience here. It's an order and then sit yourself situation in a cafe like area. The space was clean and serene though fairly busy. They have a pretty varied menu including hot food and fresh sushi. They even have a kids menu (which is a good portion for a good price - and has a good variety of good!). The pork katsu and chirashi were both delicious. We've come for dinner so we didn't grab any lattes but their matcha latte looked delicious and very popular.

We visited this place to get kakigori for dessert. We got the yuzu and the strawberry kakigori. Both were way too sweet for me. I was looking for parts of ice that didn't have any syrup/topping for respite from the syrupy sweetness. I wouldn't get the kakigori again. When Tsurumen in Davis has kakigori, they make it with a much better balance of flavors. And Oasit's Sweet in Brookline also has great shaved ice. It looks like they have a lot of other good food though, so I'd be down to try that in the future!

If you like matcha this is the place for you! Found this gem in Brookline this week and I was not disappointed. The matcha lattes are one of the best I've had in Boston and the food is not far behind. My personal favorite was the beef Gyudon! The servers in the front were kind and patient and helped us through their menu. The interior design was a small cute shop in the front, and a place to sit and eat in the back.

A fantastic spot for Japanese goods and light Japanese meals. The store is divided into two sections: home goods and market. I often pick up onigiri here, which is priced quite reasonably. They also offer great deals on items like Wagyu when it's approaching the expiration date, so I've been able to score Wagyu at a very affordable price. Staff is pretty much only behind the checkout or restocking, but are available whenever needed. The Home Goods section features skincare products, anime merchandise, and various home items like dishes and plates. There's also a Gashapon machine for mini gacha toys. I love this place and it's always one of my top stops when I'm in the area.
